TurnOut.

TURNOUT / BUILT FOR VOLUNTEER FIRE STATIONS

Know who’s
coming.

Volunteers don’t usually live at the station.
When a call comes in, knowing who’s coming—and how far away they are—is critical. TurnOut gives your station that shared picture.

RESPONDINGEN ROUTEARRIVED

FROM CALL TO CREW

Less guessing.
More awareness.

Volunteer responders may be at home, at work, or out in the community when a call comes in. TurnOut shows who is on the way and their estimated arrival at the station, helping the crew understand who they can expect before the apparatus rolls.

01

Start the call

An authorized member adds a Chief360 incident screenshot and indicates whether an engineer is required. Everyone sees the same call details.

02

See the response

Members choose Respond or Decline. Responders appear on the map with driving ETAs to the station while the app is open.

03

Know who’s arrived

Arrival status keeps the crew informed. An animated engineer indicator makes that arrival easy to notice.

PURPOSE-BUILT, NOT OVERLOADED

The details that
help a crew move.

The response starts before anyone reaches the station. Give volunteers and station leaders a shared view of who’s coming, how far away they are, and whether an engineer has arrived.

Responder map & ETAs

See the crew on a map, switch to a clear list, and fit all responders into view.

Shared incident details

A cropped screenshot of Chief360, IAMResponding, or any other first responder app puts the incident information at the top of the call.

Call-focused chat

Messages stay with the active call. New comments appear briefly on the responder map; chat clears when the call ends.

Apparatus & qualifications

Administrators manage station vehicles, seat counts, engineer requirements, and which members are qualified to operate each apparatus.

DESIGNED AROUND THE STATION

Different starting points.
One destination.

A volunteer station’s crew comes together from different places. Knowing who will arrive in four minutes, who is farther out, and whether an engineer is at the station helps turn an uncertain turnout into a clearer response picture. TurnOut is being developed with feedback from firefighters, beginning with Station 23.

TurnOut complements Chief360. Official dispatch and response remain in your department’s established systems.

ABOUT TURNOUT

Practical technology.
Built around responders.

TurnOut is built for volunteer fire stations, where most members respond from elsewhere rather than live at the station. It brings responders, arrival times, and incident details into one shared view. TurnOut is currently in private testing for iPhone and Android.

Location sharing operates while the app is open in the foreground. It stops when the phone locks or the app is closed or moves to the background. Automatic push alerts are not available in the current beta.
